you might play with a whale shark, the biggest fish in the world.
Friendly and gracious, playing with whale sharks is one of the
greatest experiences of your life. And maybe you will meet elegant
manta rays, hovering around us, showing off their wingspans of
four to five meters! The odds are good that you will see both
of these giant creatures of the deep, but please remember that
nobody can guarantee wildlife sightings, especially in the deep-water
ocean.
Meeting a sea turtle underwater is a magic experience. Large,
beautiful and gentle, ocean turtles are under worldwide threat.
Humans are the greatest threat to the survival of all
species of sea turtles, which suffer an extremely high natural
infant mortality rate. Even in perfect nature, only a few sea
turtle babies grow to maturity. Marine biologists are focusing
attention on protection of the turtle eggs and raising the new
born babies until they are big enough to answer the dangers of
the sea.
We try to help in such projects and our diving staff also report significant
marine life sightings for various universities and research institutions conducting
marine surveys in the national marine parks we visit. To protect the reef, we
practice a "no touch" policy, with an exception of our friend the cuttlefish,
who loves to be massaged all over their back. «We leave only bubbles, we
take only pictures!»
